Who We Are
For over 70 years, Lookout Mountain United Methodist Church has been a gathering of faithful Christians from Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain, and beyond. We are a small community with a strong love for God and our neighbors. Everyone is welcome at our church.

Our Denomination
We are a United Methodist Congregation. The United Methodist Church is a global denomination that emerged from the leadership of John Wesley. Wesley believed that God's grace was meant to be shared with all men and women and that grace could come to anyone through works of piety (praying, worshipping, reading scripture, etc.) and works of mercy (visiting the sick, caring for the poor, advocating for the oppressed). As Methodists, we try to grow closer to God spiritually through our worship and bible studies, but also strive to grow closer to our neighbors.
